Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, family-centered care to pediatric patients across inpatient and emergency settings.
• Apply pediatric expertise to manage a wide range of acuity from complex to critical illness.
• Collaborate with pediatric physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adapt to different unit workflows while maintaining quality, safety, and communication.
• Serve as a reliable clinical resource during high-volume periods and staffing needs.
