Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified clinician for Pediatric Developmental & Behavioral Health. This full-time, day-shift role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure within 6 months, CPI and CPR training, and strong therapeutic communication skills.

You will collaborate with guardians and community agencies, develop treatment plans, provide various modalities, document care, and coordinate discharge plans. Comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Must be issued an associate licensure and/or certification from the appropriate governing board within 6 months of employment.
• CPI and CPR training required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with guardians and community agencies to meet patient care needs.
• Assess patients' problems, needs and functioning level; write treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy modalities and human development principles in care.
• Discharge planning and coordination with next provider.
• Accurately document care in the medical record and present cases in teams.
