Resources for Human Development seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address mental health and substance use challenges and to deliver person-centered care.

The role requires a master’s degree in a related field, appropriate clearances, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field.
• Act 33/34 Clearances (if required by program) and FBI Clearance (as applicable)
• Completion of all required trainings for licensure
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsabilités

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and intake evaluations, including treatment recommendations
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans
• Maintain an active caseload, engage clients in ongoing treatment, and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning
• Maintain tracking systems for treatment plans, documentation, and program compliance
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) that meets agency, regulatory, and funder requirements
• Provide supervision and guidance to non-licensed therapists or counselors as required for licensure
