Adventist Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency Department in Rockville, MD. This part-time role is ideal for new graduates looking to make a difference in pediatric care.

The position offers a pay range of $37–$55 per hour and a day shift schedule, located at Shady Grove Medical Center within the Pediatric ED. A strong clinical foundation and Maryland RN license are required, with BLS on file.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.
