Corewell Health in Grand Rapids seeks a part-time Emergency Center Aide for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. You will work under an RN or Provider, performing basic patient care, vital signs, wound care and safety support in a Level I pediatric trauma center.

The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification within 90 days, with duties including documentation and patient comfort. Night shifts, 24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic patient care under supervision of RN or Provider.
• Take vitals and report physiological data.
• Perform wound care, catheterization and assist as safety attendant for patients.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
