Job summary

Qualifications

• Current or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification within 6 weeks.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• TNCC within 1 year; PALS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional emergency nursing care for acutely ill and injured patients across ages.
• Educate patients and families; act as patient advocate and liaison with care teams.
• Precept new employees and students; collaborate with ED team to ensure coordinated care.
• Document comprehensive patient records; communicate care plan and discharge plan to team.
