Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse for a part-time, days-only role in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced ED and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff.

Requirements include a DC RN license, BSN preferred, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with 1–2 years PED ED experience.

Qualifications

• DC RN license is required.
• 1–2 years of pediatric emergency nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency setting.
• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments safely.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record and coordinate with ED team.
