The Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for urgent and emergent conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering safe, family-centered care.
The Pediatric ED RN collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure timely treatment, stabilization, and discharge or admission planning.
