Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Burnet Emergency Department is seeking a Paramedic for day shifts. This full-time role (0.9 FTE) requires clinical expertise, strong teamwork and strict adherence to pediatric emergency protocols.

Starting pay ranges from $24.56 to $30.75 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials possible. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, treatment and documentation within departments and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Ohio/Kentucky paramedic certifications with timelines
• NREMT within 6 months of hire
• ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months of hire
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire
• Valid driver’s license with <5 points

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, monitoring, treatment and ongoing patient care within the Paramedic scope.
• Ensure safe patient care and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Perform clinical procedures, medication administration, airway management and vascular access.
• Maintain age‑specific, family‑centered and culturally responsive care; complete documentation.
