Cincinnati Children’s in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Part-time Transport Paramedic to join the Burnet Campus team. The role covers patient transport, care during transit, and compliance with EMS laws and hospital policies.

Shifts are Day, 24 hours per week, 0.6 FTE, with starting pay range of $24.56–$30.75 per hour. You’ll maintain certifications, operate emergency vehicles, and coordinate with clinical staff.

A strong focus on safety, confidentiality, and professional communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Ohio Paramedic Certification, Kentucky Paramedic certification within 6 months of hire.
• NREMT within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire.
• Valid Driver's License with less than 5 points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patient Transport- Perform skills as established by CCHMC Transport Team policy and procedure and guideline and the State of Ohio Board of EMS.
• Patient Care- Provide appropriate patient care during transport and give full report to clinical personnel at receiving facility.
• Safety- Foster environment that prevents accident, illness and injury and strives for continuous improvement.
• Communication- Promote open and timely communication with all members of the health care team and patients.
• Confidentiality- Protect and safeguard patient/family information at all times.

Education

Ohio Paramedic Certification

Kentucky Paramedic Certification within 6 months of hire

NREMT within 6 months of hire
