Job summary

Qualifications

• License to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine AND Pediatrics, or Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Maintaining certification as a Base Hospital Physician.
• Privilege approval with UCSF Medical Center/Oakland and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all medical care in the Pediatric Emergency Department on duty.
• Supervise care, procedures, charting, and interactions by residents, interns and students.

Education

License to practice medicine in California

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics, or Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
