Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Emergency Department at Baptist South on a part-time shift. You will assist Registered Nurses with patient care, maintain a safe environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, and document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.

Required credentials include a High School Diploma, Basic Life Support, and licensed EMT or CNA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.
• Experience in ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily activities.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and monitor safety.
• Collect lab specimens as needed.
• Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
