Job summary

Baptist Health's Emergency Department Downtown in Jacksonville is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a full-time evening shift. You will assist RNs, support daily patient care, and help maintain a safe environment.

This role requires a High School diploma, BLS, and a valid EMT or CNA license; an AA/AS is preferred. You will collect specimens, monitor intake/output, and document in the EMR under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate of Arts/Science preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily healthcare needs.
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Document in the electronic medical record.
• Work under the supervision of an RN to support ED operations.
