Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Emergency Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time shift opportunity, supporting Registered Nurses with patient care and daily healthcare needs in a fast-paced ED.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining safety, collecting lab specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record under an RN's supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate of Arts/Science preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe environment.
• Collecting lab specimens.
• Intake and Output monitoring.
• Electronic medical record documentation.
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education
