CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, NJ, is hiring a Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide culturally sensitive nursing care for pediatric patients in emergency, observation, or inpatient settings. The role requires an RN license, BLS, and pediatric-focused experience, with on-going credentialing in PALS/ACLS and IV therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum two years pediatric ICU or ED Peds experience or ED with pediatrics is required.

Responsabilités

• Provides culturally sensitive nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Documents nursing assessments, diagnoses, care plans and progress.
• Assesses patient condition and participates in emergency pediatric care.
• Supports patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Promotes teamwork and adherence to hospital policies.
