Job summary

CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. You will apply the Nursing Process, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required are NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and IV certification within the first year. The role supports Magnet-recognized nursing and offers tuition assistance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing; BSN within 3 years of hire.
• NJ RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS; IV Certification within first year.
• ED experience preferred; Magnet designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform complete nursing assessments and document in med records.
• Administer medications per policy and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and support discharge planning.
• Maintain crisis intervention readiness and patient safety.
