Job summary

Jawonio Inc. in New City, NY is seeking a Physical Therapist (Independent Contractor) to develop and implement treatment plans for each child based on their IFSP goals. The PT will collaborate with OT, Speech, Educators, service coordinators and staff to achieve established goals.

Responsibilities include planning interventions for EI children, documenting sessions, communicating progress to families, and completing required evaluations while maintaining BEI requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
• Valid NYS PT licensure.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides therapeutic interventions for EI children based on IFSP outcomes.
• Modifies therapy program as needed.
• Documents daily treatment sessions and attendance/billing records.
• Communicates with providers and families about child progress.
• Discusses child’s functioning and home activities with parents/guardians.
• Performs and documents MDEs, supplemental evaluations, and CPSE evaluations.
