Job summary

Harmony Pediatric Dentistry in Camas, WA is seeking a Part-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support two board-certified pediatric dentists. This safety-sensitive, part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and a family-friendly schedule.

You will perform EFDA-certified restorations, radiography, sedation support, and operatory prep while upholding CDC/OSHA/ADA standards; familiarity with Open Dental is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Valid EFDA and Radiology Health & Safety (RHS) certifications required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification; pre-employment drug screen may be required.
• Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expanded Functions clinical assisting including EFDA restorations and sealants.
• Take digital dental X-rays (RHS) and keep children comfortable.
• Assist with sedation and special needs care as needed.
• Prepare, sanitize, and turnover operatory per CDC/OSHA/ADA standards.
• Create a fun, patient-friendly environment during visits.
