Bloom + Brighten Kids Dentistry – Tualatin is seeking a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our pediatric team in Tualatin, OR. The role emphasizes chairside pediatric assistance and expanded functions in line with Oregon regulations, focusing on compassionate care for children.

The successful candidate will have 1–3 years of pediatric dental assisting experience or DA program completion, Oregon EFDA and radiology credentials, and knowledge of Open Dental.

Qualifications

• Oregon EFDA Certification, RHS (Radiology) Certification, and BLS/CPR Certification.
• 1–3 years of pediatric dental assisting experience OR graduation from an accredited DA program.
• Open Dental experience is a major plus.
• Excellent patient communication and a positive, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Chairside pediatric assisting during clinical and specialized procedures
• Performing expanded duties in strict accordance with Oregon regulations
• Treatment room preparation, instrument sterilization, and maintaining strict OSHA/CDC safety standards
• Creating a comforting, fun, and safe environment for patients and their parents
