Job summary
The Smilst Dental in Langhorne, PA seeks an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Pediatrics) to join our welcoming team. You will assist doctors, prepare trays, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory to support efficient pediatric dental care.
We value teamwork, strong communication, and attention to detail. Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for continuing education are offered; schedule is full time, Monday through Thursday, with no weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Must have a PA x-ray license
- EFDA license required
- Pediatrics experience strongly desired
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork and multi-tasking aptitude
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment and assist doctors
- Escort patients to and from the front desk
- Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and manage supply levels
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
