Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry in Malvern, PA is seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our patient-centered pediatric team. You will perform EFDA duties, assist the dentist, and help maintain smooth clinical flow.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania EFDA certification (or equivalent).
• Radiology certification.
• Experience performing expanded functions.
• Strong manual dexterity and clinical attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a dental assistant.
• Independently perform expanded functions as permitted under Pennsylvania scope.
• Restorations.
• Sealants.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs (retakes as needed).
• Assist the dentist efficiently to support patient flow and on-time scheduling.
• Review treatment plans with parents/patients and support patient education.
• Maintain infection control, instrument care, and operatory setup.
• Work with minimal supervision and strong clinical judgment.
