Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Woodlyn, PA seeks a reliable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing practice. You will assist doctors, maintain sterile operatory environments, and ensure patients are comfortable throughout treatments.

Active PA x-ray and EFDA licenses are required. Prior EFDA experience is preferred; Dentrix experience is a plus. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active PA x-ray license required.
• EFDA license required.
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prep patients and assist doctors.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain supply levels in each operatory; order and replenish as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
