The Smilist in Langhorne, PA is seeking a reliable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Pediatrics) to join our team. You will support doctors, prepare patients and instruments, and help maintain a welcoming clinical environment.

Candidates should have PA x-ray and EFDA licenses, pediatrics experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, and opportunities for growth. This full-time role requires Monday-Thursday schedules with no weekends.

Qualifications

• PA x-ray license is required.
• EFDA license is required.
• Pediatrics experience strongly desired.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing their concerns and promoting the qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to enable efficient dental care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
