Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II in Danbury, CT. This entry to midlevel role performs EEG setup, electrode application, and ensures patient safety during clinically significant events.

You will apply the 10-20 system, recognize EEG waveform changes, and communicate clearly with the care team. The position emphasizes ongoing learning, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols.

Formación

• Education and/or Experience: Enrollment in a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program or an Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred.
• Education Required: BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification at time of hire.
• Experience Preferred: 6 months or more experience in Pediatrics.

Responsabilidades

• Perform test setup, electrode application and maintain patient safety during EEG procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to explain procedures and address questions.
• Troubleshoot basic/intermediate technical issues and ensure correct electrode connections.
• Document EEG findings and coordinate with supervisory staff as needed.
