Job summary

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to ensure proper electrode placement using the 10-20 system and perform EEG procedures. Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, or an Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification required at time of hire.
  • Experience in Pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrodes according to the International 10-20 system and perform EEG as part of the Neurodiagnostic workflow.
  • Maintain patient safety and communicate critical test results to care staff.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic/intermediate EEG issues and artifact sources.
  • Document EEG procedures and ensure proper entry into electronic health records.
  • Assist with room setup, supply stocking, and coordination with supervisory staff as needed.
