Job summary

Decatur Morgan Hospital is seeking a School Teacher to deliver pediatric education under the Educational Services Program. The role includes coordinating enrollment in the Alabama Specialized Treatment Center and supporting students with diverse educational needs.

Under supervision of the Clinical Services Manager, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliant care plans and accurate documentation while maintaining patient safety and program standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent social and emotional development.
• Knowledge of psychiatric illness and the special needs of the pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Implement Alabama STC educational regulations for pediatric patients.
• Prepare course objectives aligning with state guidelines.
