Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA seeks a Night Shift RN for the Pediatric ED. The role emphasizes prioritized patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing evaluation using hospital protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in WA (MLS acceptable), BSN preferred, and current BLS certification, with 1 year of acute care experience preferred. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered for eligible BSN and 3+ years RN.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health-care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity and health of diverse patients.
