Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital's Department of Emergency Medicine provides 24-hour care to infants, children and young adults with urgent and emergency medical, surgical and traumatic conditions. The successful candidate will join a Level 1 trauma center dedicated to pediatric care, accepting patients from birth through 21 years old.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute or emergency medicine RN experience.
• Pediatric ED experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, mid-level providers and administrative staff.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center with trauma-related, surgical and medical illnesses of varying acuity and complexity.
• 36 hours nights and every other weekend.
