St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during shifts.

You will work with the management team to direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care in alignment with policies and values to support exceptional patient outcomes. As a CNC, you will lead admissions/discharges, participate in quality assessments, collaborate with subject matter experts, and promote a teamwork culture.

Competenze

• Licensed RN with an active Texas license
• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN designation and relevant nursing degree required

Mansioni

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary
• Supports staffing efforts including scheduling and labor management within productivity guidelines
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Assists with inventory control and supplies/equipment management
