Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking an ECMO-focused Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night shift to support ECMO needs in our ICU. This role requires strong pediatric critical care skills and a commitment to family-centered care.

The RN will apply nursing process, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and may supervise nursing staff and assistants. WA RN license and BLS are required; PEARS/PALS per policy may be used.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• ECMO Experience.
• Pediatric ICU experience (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs and others as defined by policy.
• Support CPI, Value Based Behaviors, and patient safety initiatives.
