Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Sonographer to join the Echocardiography team at Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. You will perform various ultrasound procedures, review orders, and educate patients while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role supports a full-time, days schedule with 72 hours per pay period; travel stipend options may apply for local travel learners. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• 1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential from ARDMS: AE or RVT.
• CCI: RCS, RVS, RCCS, ACS credentials.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross with valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, physician orders, and scheduling; educate patient about procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Monitor patient condition; select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Ensure safety standards and perform quality control; position patient and capture images.
• Analyze results and identify imaging quality issues.
