Job summary

Thom Child and Family Services in Marlboro, MA seeks an Early Intervention Physical Therapist to deliver home and community-based services to infants and toddlers birth to three and their families. You will partner with parents to tailor services to each family's priorities and culture, using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include multidisciplinary assessments, IFSP development, and delivering family-centered interventions in homes and community settings.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the MA Board
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families preferred
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services for birth to three using parent coaching model.
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the intervention plan.
• Partner with families in IFSP development to identify goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to support development.
• Complete progress notes and reports in the Thom documentation system.
