Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students.

• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and sensory strategies.

AnthroMed Education is seeking an Early Education Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in Flat Rock, MI . This opportunity predominantly serves preschool-aged students , supporting children as they develop the foundational fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills needed to participate successfully in the classroom and school routines. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to create meaningful, student-centered outcomes while receiving the ongoing support and mentorship AnthroMed is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services primarily to preschool-aged students , supporting fine motor, sensory, self-care, visual-motor, and school participation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of developmental and educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and sensory strategies to improve participation in classroom and school routines.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required Medicaid and IEP paperwork.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful recommendations regarding student needs and services.
