Pediatric Home Service seeks a full-time Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our patient-centered team. You will gather documentation, secure prior authorizations, obtain physician orders, and coordinate with clinics, nurses and insurers to verify coverage and document patient information accurately.

Based in Richardson, TX, this role thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict HIPAA compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare admin and DME intake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtains supporting documentation for products and services.
• Obtains prior authorizations from insurance companies.
• Obtains physician orders for products and services.
• Maintains patient status information and updates records.
• Maintains physician orders database and collaborates with clinics.
• HIPAA and EHR access compliance.
• On-call duties may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
