Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) delivers patient-centered, coordinated care with leadership, direct clinical practice, collaboration, coaching, and ethical decision-making.

The APN works with the practice team to assess, plan, and implement care for pediatric and adolescent patients with dermatologic needs. Schedule includes in-office hours Monday through Friday; weekends, holidays, and on-call commitments are required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

The Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. Schedule will be in office Monday - Friday.
