Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Per Diem Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) for the busy Pediatric Subspecialty division (Neuro Child Evaluation) in the HOPE Tower, Neptune, NJ. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with the care team and ongoing clinical excellence.

The position requires NP education (Master's/Doctorate), NJ APN license, NPI, prescriptive authority, and BLS/ACLS certification, with a collaborative physician agreement and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Must be graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
Master's or Doctorate in NP program.
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
Experience in relevant patient care setting and NPI.
Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA per NJ law.
Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care within Neuro Child Evaluation.
Collaborate with physicians and hospital team to assess, plan and implement care.
Participate in leadership, coordination and coaching of staff as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and administrative duties.
Engage in research and ongoing professional development.
