Qualifications

• Detail oriented with ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints.
• Ability to monitor important and complex projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes/email software.
• Effective verbal and written communication, including memos and letters.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify insurance coverage and eligibility, review new patient registration, obtain authorizations, and assist in collecting copays.
• Maintain medical and insurance referral records and prepare patient charts.
• Ensure test results are filed.
• Handle and answer all phone calls and transfer to appropriate departments.
• Manage patient appointments according to physician schedules.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
