St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia is seeking a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our team and provide dental services to our community.

The role includes supervising pediatric dental residents in clinic, OR and conscious sedation, contributing to resident didactic lectures and evaluations, and helping develop the Pediatric Dental Residency Program. Opportunities exist to lead and advance within the program.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from CODA-accredited dental school.
• Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
• Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation).
• Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of the pediatric dental residents during clinic, in operating room and conscious sedation procedures.
• Participation is required for resident didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations.
• Active participation in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.
• Engage in the development and foster resident research activities.
• Advancement opportunities to Associate Program Director and Program Director Positions for the right person that exhibits leadership qualities and skills.
