St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our team and provide dental services to the community.

The role involves supervising pediatric dental residents in clinic, OR, and conscious sedation, and participating in resident education and evaluations. The candidate will help develop and implement goals for the pediatric residency program and foster resident research activities, with advancement opportunities to Associate Program Director and Program

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from CODA-accredited dental school.
• Board certification in pediatric dentistry (ABPD).
• PA dental license and anesthesia permit (PA).
• Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of pediatric dental residents during clinic, OR, and conscious sedation.
• Participate in resident didactic lectures, clinical care, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental school
• Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
• Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania
• Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.
