Job summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children seeks a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our group and provide dental services to our community. The role focuses on supervising pediatric dental residents in clinic, operating room and sedation settings, and leading educational activities within the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited dental school.
  • Board-certified in pediatric dentistry by ABP.
  • Able to obtain Pennsylvania dental license.
  • Able to obtain PA oral conscious sedation permit.
  • Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pediatric dental residents during clinic, operating room, and conscious sedation procedures.
  • Participate in resident didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations.
  • Actively contribute to development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.
  • Foster resident research activities.

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our group and provide dental services to our community.

  • Provide supervision of the pediatric dental residents during clinic, in operating room and conscious sedation procedures.

  • The individual is required to actively participate in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.

With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. Education Requirements
  • Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental school
  • Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.
