Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Dental Resident to support clinical, didactic and teaching activities within the Pediatric Dental Center. The role reports to the Director – Pediatric Dental Residency Program and the Medical Director – Children’s Dental Center.

The resident will provide dental services across locations, participate in rotations, conduct inpatient consultations, and assist with anesthesia cases under attending supervision, while adhering to hospital policies and quality

Qualifications

• Graduated from dental school with a D.D.S. or D.M.D.
• Completion of National Dental Board examinations
• BLS and PALS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Exhibits values and supports mission and vision through clinical care.
• Provides dental services to CHW Dental Center patients at assigned locations.
• Participates in clinical rotation assignments per residency curriculum.
• Provides inpatient consultations and care as requested by medical colleagues.
• Performs after-hour emergency care on call as assigned.
• Delivers complex dental care to young or special-needs patients under supervision.
• Completes didactic courses and participates in teaching activities.
• Engages in off-service teaching rotations at Marquette University Dental School.
