Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI seeks a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist comfortable treating children to join our team. This full-time role offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a dedicated patient base.

We provide comprehensive General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services, modern, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for career growth. Per diem compensation ranges from $1,000 to $1,200, depending on schedule and qualifications.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics in the dental office, and engage in ongoing professional development.
