Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern facility with a dedicated patient base.

The role offers a per diem arrangement of $1,000–$1,200 with flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) and opportunities for career growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain high quality standard of care
• Maintain ethics and professionalism in the office
• Keep up with new developments and continued education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
