Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or full-time schedule, flexible days based on provider availability. 1,000 - 1,200 per diem.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment options with patients
• Maintain patient medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays; monitor growth and development
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Uphold high standards of care and ethics
• Stay updated on new developments and continue professional education
