Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who treats children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or full-time schedules are available, with a per diem rate of $1,000–$1,200.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state dentistry license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Review x-rays and monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
