Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist (or a General Dentist who treats children) to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility with a dedicated patient base.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or full-time schedules are available, with a per diem of 1,000–1,200 USD.

Qualifications

• Requires DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Formation

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
