Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI seeks a Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist, open to treating children, to join our team. We offer part-time or full-time schedules with a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 and a modern practice with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry, and current licensure to practice.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health
Review treatment plan options with patients
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of the teeth and jaws
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
Maintain ethics and professionalism within the dental office and stay updated with new developments and continuing education
