42North Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist open to treating children, to join the Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. The practice offers general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontic services with modern equipment.

Flexible part-time or full-time schedules and a per diem rate of 1,000–1,200 USD enable a long-term career path in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate has a DMD or DDS, state licensure, and a passion for pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism within the dental office; stay updated on new developments and best practices.
