Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) to join the Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. The role offers both part-time and full-time schedules with a per diem rate of $1,000–$1,200 USD.

The clinic provides comprehensive services including general, pediatric, orthodontic and periodontic care. The successful candidate will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create treatment plans while maintaining high standards of care and

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain professional ethics and keep up with current best practices and continuing education.
