42North Dental's Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services, with easy-to-find location and a dedicated patient base.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children, enjoy a modern, state-of-the-art facility with Solea Laser, CBCT, iTero scanners, and integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education to improve care.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
